Looking for healthy recipes? Try these fresh, filling and delicious guava and banana smoothies. They can be served as a meal-on-the-go or a nutritious breakfast the whole family will enjoy. Served with a gorgeous strawberry salsa, it has a finishing touch unlike any other that adds a dash of extra texture to the drink too. If you’re looking for a fruity dessert, simply substitute the yoghurt for ice-cream (see tips and variations below). Serves: 4 - 6
1 can (410 g) KOO Guava Halves, drained
3 ripe bananas
20 ml honey
5 ml fresh mint, chopped
50 g strawberries, halved (optional)
350 ml plain yoghurt
6 strawberries, finely chopped
5 mint leaves, finely chopped
Chop the strawberries into small cubes, slice the mint leaves thinly and set aside in a small mixing bowl.
