Oats and Spiced Peaches

2 cans (410 g) Rhodes Peach Slices in Syrup, drained but with syrup reserved
500 ml (2 cups) oats
2,5 ml (½ tsp.) ground cinnamon
125 ml (½ cup) walnuts, chopped
750 ml water
